Bulgaria is on the verge of an important moment for motorsport. The new motor park near Samokov has been completed and is expected to put the country on the map of international motorsport.

The facility was built to the highest international standards in around eight months — an exceptionally short timeframe for a project of this scale. Bulgarian specialists and international consultants took part in the project, including Driven International — the company behind circuits such as Mandalika and Silverstone Rallycross — and IPA Architecture.

The circuit features 4 kilometers of asphalt, 15 corners, 21 configurations, and a straight of over 900 meters, allowing speeds of more than 280 km/h. It has been built with a special racing asphalt mix developed with the support of Italian experts, along with modern drainage systems, safety zones, and protective barriers that meet the requirements of the international federations.
